Kan Kankavee x Windwear “It Time to Face the Sun”

Updated: Mar 13

The first project blending art in photography, translated onto Aloha shirts in Windwear style. For this occasion, we collaborated with Kan Kankavee, a renowned Urban photographer capturing the city life, architecture, and ambiance of Bangkok. Kan is widely recognized as a versatile and respected artist in the field of photography.

“It's Time to Face the Sun” captures the evening ambiance of a grassy roadside leading to a major roundabout, with the grand statue of Pang Samadhi Buddha at Paknam Phasi Charoen Temple in the background, set against the setting sun.

The significance of this image resonates with the current situation Thailand is facing. While dusk represents the darkest hour in nature, darkness doesn't prevail forever. As the sun rises, it presents an opportunity for everyone to encounter hope and possibilities, akin to the moment when sunlight pierces through the darkness.
